Coleslaw

Creamy Homemade Coleslaw – a perfect fit to burgers, sandwiches, and more

In my vacation in America, I ate Coleslaw every day. On our trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles, we had a lot of good stuff. The food is totally awesome in the USA. We had baby back ribs in San Francisco, crabs and lobster in Monterey, flame grilled burgers in San Luis Obispo, and original French dipped sandwiches in Los Angeles.

Almost everything came with Coleslaw on the side. I loved it from day to day more, and now I’m addicted to Coleslaw. It fits perfectly to many different dishes. It doesn’t matter if you eat sandwiches, chicken, or fish. Coleslaw is always a good fit.

Creamy Homemade Coleslaw – never ever buy it in the store again

Creamy Homemade Coleslaw is super easy to make. There is definitely no excuse to buy it in the store. You just need to cut the cabbage and the carrots and stir it together with the dressing. The dressing is made out of onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.

The dressing is very creamy and well balanced between sweet, sour, and salty. The crisp cabbage and carrots together with the creamy dressing is heavenly.

Eat a rainbow in a bowl

Not just that Coleslaw is absolutely delicious, I like the colors too. I added about 1/5 red cabbage of the total amount of cabbage. Just for the color. The green, the purple, and the orange are so beautiful together.

If you don’t want to buy two sorts of cabbage, you can use just green cabbage too. It’s up to you. It doesn’t change anything on the taste.

Creamy Homemade Coleslaw

Let’s face the key facts again.

This Creamy Homemade Coleslaw comes together in just 10 minutes, and you need 1 bowl and 10 ingredients. It is super creamy, sweet, sour, and salty. The vegetables are colorful and crisp. You can eat it with many different things like fish or chicken.
