Ingredients

Stir dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt) together and set aside.

1

Whisk butter, sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixes on medium high-speed for 2-3 minutes. Then, add egg and vanilla and mix until creamy for 1 minute.

2

Add the flour mixture and mix on medium-low speed until incorporated for 1 minute. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

3

Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Then, start preparing your cookie dough by rolling them into even balls and placing them on the baking sheet spaced 3-4 inches apart.

4

Bake your cookies one sheet a time for 10-11 minutes, or until the edges are set. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

5

I love sprinkling my cookies with salt and serving them with a tall glass of fresh milk!
