This homemade eggnog recipe is easy to make and you need just a few ingredients.

Milk & Heavy Cream
Let's make it
Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until creamy and pale for about 2-3 minutes.
Heat the milk and cinnamon until it reaches a boil and remove a ¼ cup.
Whisk hot milk into egg yolks and pour back into the saucepan. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Stir in vanilla and nutmeg. Then let cool to room temperature.
Mix the heavy cream. Then add cream and rum to the cooled milk mixture and chill.
