Preheat the Air Fryer

Prepare the Cauliflower

  • Trim the base and remove the leaves from the cauliflower head. Cut the cauliflower head into two equal halves. From each half, slice out steaks approximately 1 cm thick. For aesthetic appeal and even cooking, trim the edges of the steaks to make them neat and evenly sized.

Mix the Spice Blend

  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, turmeric, cumin, paprika, and garlic powder. Season the spice blend with salt and pepper according to your preference. Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure all the spices are well integrated.

Season the Cauliflower Steaks

  • Place the cauliflower steaks on a large plate or in a bowl. Apply the spice blend evenly on the steaks, ensuring all sides are well coated.

Air Fry the Cauliflower Steaks

  • Arrange the seasoned cauliflower steaks in a single layer on the air fryer tray. To prevent sticking, you can lightly spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with cooking oil if necessary.
    Slide the tray into the preheated air fryer and cook the steaks for approximately 15-20 minutes. To ensure an even cook and browning, flip the steaks halfway through the cooking time.
