Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Cut off the dry ends of the asparagus and set aside. Mince garlic cloves very finely and set aside. Cut lemon in slices and also set aside.
Melt butter in the microwave until completely melted for about 20-30 seconds. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Brush all over salmon and asparagus. Arrange salmon and asparagus on the baking sheet and pour remaining butter mixture over salmon and asparagus evenly. Place lemon slices on top and bake for about 13-15 minutes. Do not overbake otherwise the salmon will be dry.
