Equipment

  • Cutting board and knife or a mandoline slicer
  • Mixing bowl or plate
  • Tongs
  • Paper towels
  • Serving plate or bowl

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 340°F (170°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer is preheating, wash and dry the zucchini. Remove the ends and slice the zucchini into thin, even rounds. You can use a knife or a mandoline slicer to achieve consistent thickness.
  • Drizzle some olive oil over the zucchini. You can use cooking spray, ensuring each slice is lightly coated. Feel free to sprinkle salt, pepper, and any other seasonings of your choice, such as garlic powder or paprika.
  • Gently toss the slices to evenly distribute the oil and seasonings.
  • Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook the zucchini slices in the air fryer for about 12-16 minutes. The cooking time depends on your air fryer model. It's best to take out the basket occasionally to try the chips. Stop cooking when you’re satisfied with the result.
  • Keep a close eye on them to avoid burning and adjust the cooking time as needed. The zucchini chips should turn golden brown and become crispy.
  • Once the zucchini chips are cooked, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining zucchini slices until all are cooked. Let the zucchini chips cool for a few minutes before serving. They are best enjoyed immediately for maximum crispiness.
