  • Start by rinsing and cleaning the tiger shrimp. Remove the head and shell, leaving only the meat and tail intact. The tail makes it easy to hold the shrimp after cooking.
  • Important Note: Make sure to remove the digestive tract.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste, and feel free to add other favorite spices to enhance the flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to about 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket. Do not overcrowd them to ensure even cooking.
  • Air fry the shrimp for 6-8 minutes. Remember to flip them halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  • Tip: Keep an eye on the process, as cooking time may vary depending on the size of the shrimp and the specific model of the air fryer. If the shrimp are small and your air fryer works well, 6 minutes should be sufficient. Avoid overcooking as they will become tough and lose their tenderness.
  • The internal temperature of the cooked shrimp should reach approximately 145°F (63°C) to ensure they are safe to eat.
  • After 6-8 minutes, remove the shrimp from the air fryer. They are now ready to be served! Fresh lemon juice goes well with the shrimp, or you can serve them with your favorite sauce.
