  • Cut the chicken into long even pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, dried ginger, and dried garlic. Add the chicken breast and mix well to ensure each piece is well-coated with the sauce.
  • ​​In a separate bowl, mix flour, starch, salt and pepper. In another bowl, crack two eggs and separate the yolks, as you only need the egg whites for this recipe.
  • Arrange the coated chicken tenders on the air fryer tray, leaving a small space between each piece. If you like, you can brush the chicken breast with a little vegetable oil to ensure a crispier crust.
  • Place the tray of chicken tenders in the air fryer and cook at 380°F (195°C) for 10 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through cooking. Cooking time may vary depending on the wattage of your air fryer, so keep an eye on the chicken to prevent overcooking.
  • Once the chicken tenders turn golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Test one tender to ensure the chicken is fully cooked and not raw on the inside.
