Ingredients

Instructions

  • Give the potatoes a thorough wash. There’s no need to peel them.
  • Create thin slices along the potatoes but make sure you stop just before reaching the bottom.
Tip: You can place chopsticks on either side of the potato to prevent overcutting.
  • Rinse the potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and then season with half of the dried herbs mixture, salt, and black pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (180°C).
  • Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20 minutes, then add the remaining half of the dried herbs mixture. Continue cooking for an additional 25 minutes. Cooking time may vary based on potato size and slice thickness.
  • Check the potatoes for doneness by inserting a knife or fork. If they go in easily, the potatoes are done.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil over them.
  • Serve your air-fried hasselback potatoes hot, and enjoy your meal!
